J.L.F. (ORLANDO)
J.L.F. worked in construction until he was 28 years old and then began to make his living as an artist. He started in earnest, he says, when he noticed the Centro Mestre Noza one day when he was in Juazeiro, and he became aware that the Center would buy the small, finely detailed sculptures that he was making. Today, J.L.F. works as a musician as well as a sculptor and runs a small convenience store in front of his home.
