UBIRACI TIBIRAÇU
In 1978, Ubiraci visited Amazonas for six months researching the Amazon forest and the indigenous people. His early childhood experience living in a forested area had influenced the content of his paintings. When he returned from Amazonas, he began to put indigenous people into his paintings rather than just trees and animals.
